It is with great pleasure and happiness that we gather today to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of our batch-THE 36th BATCH. This is not just a reunion but a celebration of 25 years of growth and shared experiences that have shaped us into the medical professionals and human being we are today.
Our journey began in1994, when we first stepped into the divine halls of this prestigious medical college. We came from different backgrounds with distinctive dreams and aspirations, but united by a common goal- to serve humanity. Over the years we faced the strictness of medical training, countless hours of study, endless cups of tea/coffee, sleepless nights but camaraderie helped us survive through tough times. Our batch was known not only for academic excellence but also for its vibrant social life. From organizing cultural events to participating in sports competitions, we were a group that balanced hard work with fun.
The Silver Jubilee celebration is a time to reflect on the milestones we have achieved over the past two and a half decades. Many among us have become leading specialists in their fields, contributing significantly to the world of medicine. Others have proceed into academics, research or healthcare management. Several have even dedicated their careers to serving in rural or underserved areas, amalgamating the true spirit of medical service. Each of our journeys has been unique but they all started here in the same classrooms and lecture halls. Our professors and mentors laid the foundation, imparting not only knowledge but also the values of empathy, ethics, and dedication that continue to guide us in our professional lives.
As we gather for this special occasion, it is heart warming to see familiar face some of whom we have kept in touch with, others we may not have seen in years. The stories we share today remind us of the simpler times when our biggest worries were exams and viva sessions particularly stage in anatomy. This reunion is a reminder that no matter how far we have travelled, the bonds we formed during our medical college days remain unbroken. As we exchange stories of our personal and professional lives, we realize that while much has changed, the essence of who we are remains the same.
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look forward to the future. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic reminded us of the critical role healthcare professionals play in society. We remember those who are no longer with us, their memories etched in our hearts. As we move forward, let us continue to inspire each other, mentor the next generation and strive for excellence in our chosen paths.
This reunion is more than a nostalgic gathering; it’s a celebration of our collective journey. We leave this gathering inspired, ready to continue making a difference in the lives of our patients and communities.
Here’s to 25 years of excellence and many more to come! —
